Can I take a car one-way in Canada?
At participating Enterprise locations in Canada, a vehicle can be hired in one location and returned to another; however, please be advised that:
- One-way car hires need to be booked in advance.
- Some one-way car hires are assessed a one-time drop charge or mileage/kilometre charge in addition to the car hire rate.
- The drop charge fee varies by car hire pickup location, car hire return location and other factors. If there is a drop charge fee, it will be disclosed when you book via the web site and is payable at time of pickup.
- Car hire sthat are returned within the same city could be subject to a drop charge, mileage charge, or higher rate. Please Note: The one-way rate may be higher than if returning to the same location.
