Do I need insurance to hire a vehicle?
The short answer
- No. We provide a liability limitation (liability reduction) that is included in the cost of your car hire
- The liability limitation (liability reduction) contains an excess
- You have the option to purchase additional protection products (supplementary liability reduction/comprehensive cover) in order to reduce your excess
The long answer
You do not need to purchase insurance to hire from Enterprise because we include liability limitation as part of your car hire charge. The liability limitation is associated with an excess, i.e. the amount for which you are liable in the event of accident damage or theft of the vehicle. You have the option to purchase additional protection products in order to reduce this excess and start your journey in a more relaxed manner.
